Both wood and silicone are antimicrobial. Please do not boil or microwave your clip. For silicone soft beads, cleaning and wiping with soap and water is the best way to clean your clip. Our wooden clothing clip and wood pieces do NOT require cleaning as natural beechwood does not hold bacteria.
Before first use, and at regular intervals thereafter, boil the water then remove from the heat and immerse the pacifier into the hot water for up to 3 minutes. Do not boil the pacifiers directly.
Afterwards, just clean on a daily basis, by washing it in mild liquid soap under running water — if it needs an extra thorough clean place it in a strainer and sterilize it by pouring boiling water over it. But don’t boil it again and never leave it to cool down in boiling water. It is not dishwasher-safe. And we don’t recommend the use of sterilizers.
BIBs pacifiers recommended to be replaced every 6 – 8 weeks depending on usage.
